We are WUSAC, and we need your help! Our club is in desperate need of a new compressor, which we need to keep running our training sessions, to introduce students and staff to the wonders of the underwater world, and to allow us to run trips around the UK and make diving as affordable as it can be!
Who are We?
WUSAC was established in the 1970's as a university dive club. Our club members dive around sites across the UK, from the Farne Islands to the Lizard Peninsula, with the club providing masses of support, from transport to kit. We also have a team of incredibly dedicated volunteer instructors who help teach at our pool sessions every week, training divers new and old to help them explore the depths of the oceans with even more skill!
We firmly believe diving should be open to everyone and be as affordable as possible, which is why as a club we are lucky to have kit our members can use on their adventures and we work hard to keep all costs down.
After over 15 years of hard graft, our compressor has finally reached an age where it needs to be replaced. It is a vital workhorse in our club, providing good quality breathing air to every member, from complete newbie to National Instructor. A new compressor costs in excess of £8000, so this campaign is part of a wider fundraising initiative to invest in a piece of equipment to last us another decade and beyond!
Diving is a great way not only to explore the oceans, but to meet new people, relax and try something completely different. This investment will help the club for years to come, enabling more divers to make a splash and learn something new.
Where will the money go?
The money we gratefully receive will go towards purchase of a new Coltri MCH16 compressor. As part of a wider fundraising campaign we aim to raise enough to purchase the compressor to enable us to continue diving.
For donations over £20, we'll give you a shoutout on our social media accounts to say what a great sport you are!
For donations over £50, we'll provide you with the opportunity to try diving one on one with a club instructor, to give you a feel for the underwater world! (Please note that the Sub-Aqua club may only be able to offer this to current students and staff at the University of Warwick due to insurance, however we may be able to arrange a try dive with another local club for you.)
For donations over £100, we'll put your logo or name on our website on a supporters page, to show off your support for our club!
For donations over £1000, firstly, a massive thank you! We are more than happy to provide you with advertising space on our website and cylinders, so wherever we are diving, your brand name and logo will be seen both above and below the water - there are not many people who can offer advertising to seals! This is of great benefit to your brand - we travel the length and breadth of the UK, so you are being promoted wherever the club goes.

Help us succeed!
Even if you can't donate, you can still be a massive help! Share our campaign on social media, talk about it with your friends and family and spread the word! Every donation helps, it would be a massive shame to end over 40 years of diving, so help us keep our fins wet and our tanks full!
