Summary of our project
University of Warwick Men's Football Club are aiming to raise £2,000 in order to purchase four playing kits for our BUCS squads. This will help us to enhance the professionalism of our club and allow the club to continue to compete in the annual Varsity.
Who are we?
We are the University of Warwick Men's football club. We are a club of 80+ members who compete in BUCS competitions including both leagues and cup tournaments. We also support participation across the University and the Community.
Around two years ago, the University struck a contract with a new kit supplier meaning all sports teams at the University have to play in this brands kit. However, due to financial reasons we have yet been able to purchase a new kit.
We need to raise £2,000 in order to purchase 4 new kits so consequently, we are asking you to help us by making a donation to our crowdfunding project. Whether it be £1, £10, or a £100, your donation will really help change the way we prepare for games as some of the kits we currently play in are not up to standard.
Where will the money go?
The money donated will go towards helping us purchase four brand new AKUMA playing kits, which we will wear in all our games: BUCS League games, BUCS Cup games and Varsity.
The kits cost around £500 for 16 playing shirts, so with your donations we will be able to purchase all four.
For donations over £500 (i.e. the price of a full kit) we will print your business' logo on the front of the kit you have covered the cost for - providing we reach our overall goal.
This will greatly benefit your business by promoting your brand when we compete which includes promotion at Universities including: Warwick, Oxford, Cambridge, Birmingham, and many more.
